Less than a week ...

B and I are less than one week away from our honeymoon in the outstanding Australia. Needless to say, we can't wait! The map above shows you all the various places we will go. We start for the first 3 days in Sydney (where my favorite part of the trip will be hiking the Sydney Harbour Bridge). From there, we fly to Alice Springs to camp on a camel farm near Ayers Rock for 3 days. From there, we fly to Cairns to scuba the Great Barrier Reef. In anticipation of the trip, I though I would share a few interesting fun facts about the land down under:
~Australia is the only country that also possess as a continent.
~There are 10 wildly deadly snakes in the world. All hail from Australia.
~The Great Barrier Reef is the longest reef in the world at over 2010 kilometres.
~Ayers Rock is over 8 kilometre in circumference.
~There are 1500 species of Australian spiders.
~The Sydney Opera House roof weighs more than 161,000 tons.
