Recently, I was reading a few of my favorite blogs and ran across this post from a man in his early 30s who was recording his random thoughts. Below are a few that I found funny, insightful and especially true for people of our generation (ps - I guess I'm feeling a bit nostalgic with my birthday mere days away!):
.) Nothing sucks more than that moment in an argument when you realize you're wrong!
.) I totally take back all those times I didn't want to nap when I was younger.
.) Do you remember when you were a kid, playing nintendo and it didn't work? You'd take the cartridge out, blow in it and the problem would magically be fixed. Every kid in America knew to do that. But, how did we know? There were no messages boards or internet or FAQ. Kids today are soft!
.) How the hell are you suppose to fold a fitted sheet?
.) I think part of your best friend's job description should be to clear your computer history if you die!
.) I have a difficult time deciphering the hard line between boredom and hunger.
.) Map Quest really needs to start their directions at #5. I know how to get out of my neighborhood.
.) You never know when it will strike but there's a moment during work when you decide you just aren't going to be productive that day!
AND, my FAVORITE ...
.) Even under ideal conditions people have trouble locating their car keys in their pockets, hitting the G-Spot and Pinning the Tail on the Donkey. But I'd bet my ass everyone can find and push the snooze button from 3 feet away, in about 1.7 seconds, eyes closed ... first time ... every time!
